During Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK-A, BRK-B) annual shareholders meeting, Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett discussed the investment firm's record-high cash pile, key market players, and major industry trends. Smead Capital CEO Cole Smead joins Catalysts to break down what Buffett's insights could mean for investors. Despite Berkshire Hathaway's sky-high capital, Buffett said he saw no $10 billion investment opportunities, Smead explains. "That was the biggest megaphone experience people should've had," Smead says, adding that investors should "wake up" to the fact that there are few big opportunities in the current market. Buffett also warned of the threat self-driving vehicles pose to auto insurers, which prompted Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk to invite the investing legend to take a position in the company. Smead tells Seana Smith and Madison Mills that he believes there's "not a chance in God's name" Buffett would take interest in the electric vehicle company.
